I created instructional materials for building Purdue University’s PoRTAL ( Purdue Repository for online Teaching and Learning), a project headed by Dr Jennifer Richardson.
PoRTAL is a digital repository of go-to resources for anyone interested in online teaching and learning. PoRTAL can help users improve their knowledge and skills in developing online courses.
Topics include: instructor strategies, course enhancement, pedagogy, active learning, sample tools, and policies to help make the role of an online instructor easier and build courses that are more engaging for online students. I was part of the team from initial conceptualization up to project launch and was actively involved in the designing, formatting, writing and editing of resources.
